Seasonal Trends Autumn-Winter 2010.
Tom and I have just returned from visiting two overseas trade fairs in Singapore and Vietnam.
This trip enabled us to see what was happening in the world of container gardening.A visit to China saw us visiting a new factory .Here we discovered troughs and cubes. The colours reminded us of Central schist and Oamaru stone.We are very excited about this new range arriving in late July.The owners of this new factory take great pride in their staff working conditions.We even ate the staff lunch that is cooked by a fulltime cook. Yum!
This is the year of the Tiger for some! So animals have been a constant request.
Angels are proving to be popular again especially with the festive season around the corner.So we have brought back beautiful angels ,cute pigs, cats , roosters and many more animals.
The trend is moving towards bright colours. This is exactly what we need to brighten our surroundings after a long cold winter. A range of brightly coloured pots in green ,red, yellow and orange will look great with the new seasons plantings.
Yes we have found a bright red which we know everyone has been waiting for !
While away we also had the chance to have our own designs made, these will help to co-ordinate the indoor outdoor flow.This line is in development for interior homewares . The range that will carry similar shapes from the coffee table to a planter for the outdoors.Drum stools and vases are a few new items that we hope to stock .
New in is a lovely range of scented candles. These are made with exclusive French Oils. These make a great gift idea when popped into a pot.Even without lighting the smell that will hit you when you open your door is magical.
